Who Are We

Our business

Our principal activity, which is our strength, is the manufacture and development of soft, rigid and scleral contact lenses for the Moroccan market and for export, but it also extends to other sectors, such as the import and distribution of care solutions, accessories for contact lenses, and medical equipment.

Our Clients

We deliver our contact lenses exclusively to visual health professionals. Our contact lenses are custom-made and only an ophthalmologist or an optician is authorized to fit and deliver our products to patients.

Our Products

Today, Biolens Lab offers the widest range of contact lenses on the market. We manufacture soft Hydrogel and Silicone-Hydrogel lenses, therapeutic, prosthetic and soft cosmetic lenses, and we also have a range of rigid lenses that are gas permeable or with special keratoconus geometry. Thanks to digital technology we also produce scleral lenses and orthokeratology lenses.

Our History

Biolens Lab was created in 2013 by professionals in the fields of optics, contactology and contact lens manufacturing to meet the needs of visual health professionals, and through them the needs of patients requiring visual or ocular surface rehabilitation using contact lenses.

In 2014 Biolens Lab launched the production and marketing of a wide range of soft hydrogel and rigid gas permeable contact lenses.
In 2016 Biolens Lab launched the first scleral lens made in Morocco, which was designed in a Swiss laboratory.
In 2017 and for the first time in Morocco, Biolens Lab manufactured and marketed an Orthokeratology lens for the correction and control of myopia.
In 2019, we moved to new premises in the industrial zone of Mohammedia, with greater space and specifically designed to meet the required safety standards.
In 2020, by obtaining double ISO 13485:2016 and ISO 9001:2015 certification for its contact lens manufacturing activities and the distribution of cleaning solutions, Biolens Lab became the first ISO 13485 certified company in the optical sector in Morocco.
